Individually Matched to Your Gem

Each paper record corresponds to a specific Gemdrop® Identification Code and verification database entry.

The document supplied will be prepared for the gem purchased in the same order unless another eligible Gemdrop® Identification Code is provided.

A paper record cannot be issued for a gem that does not have a valid Gemdrop® Verification Database entry.

Live Online Verification

The online Gemdrop® Verification Database record is the primary source of authenticity and verification.

The printed document provides a convenient physical summary of the information recorded at the time it is issued. Buyers can scan the document’s QR code or enter the Gemdrop® Identification Code at gemdrop.io/verify to access the corresponding live record.

Possession of a printed document alone does not establish authenticity. The Gemdrop® Identification Code must correspond to a valid record within the official Gemdrop® Verification Database.

Historical Records

Some gems were verified under earlier versions of the Gemdrop® documentation system.

Historical records may contain fewer fields than current records because certain information may not have been collected or recorded at the original time of assessment.

Where applicable, the paper record may display a notice explaining that it was created from a historical verification record.

Important Ordering Information

This listing is for one printed Gemdrop® Verified Gem Record.

Please purchase one paper copy for each gem requiring physical documentation.

When ordering the document separately from the original gem purchase, please provide:

• The Gemdrop® Identification Code

• The original Gemdrop® order number

• The name or email address used for the original purchase

Gemdrop® may request additional information to confirm that the document is being issued for the correct gem and customer.

To ensure your paper record is matched to the correct gem, please email us after placing your order.

Please send your email to support@gemdrop.io and include:

• Your Shopify order number for this Paper Copy Gemdrop® Verified Gem Record.
• The Gemdrop® gem you would like the record for (if known).
• If ordering multiple paper records, please include a Gemdrop order number that corresponds to each gem.

If we are unable to identify the correct gem, we will contact you before preparing your document, which may delay dispatch.

Each Paper Copy Gemdrop® Verified Gem Record is individually produced for a single verified gem and cannot be prepared until the corresponding verification record has been confirmed.

Processing

Printed records are individually generated and checked before dispatch.

Because each document is personalised to a specific verification record, preparation may require additional processing time before the order is shipped.

Where the paper record is purchased alongside a gem, it will normally be included in the same parcel.

Replacement Copies

Replacement copies may be issued for eligible Gemdrop® records.

To request a replacement, the customer may be required to provide:

• The original order number

• The Gemdrop® Identification Code

• Evidence of the original purchase

Replacement documents remain subject to verification against the live Gemdrop® Verification Database.

• Re-testing of the gem

• An independent third-party laboratory report

• A valuation or appraisal

• An insurance valuation

• A guarantee of market value

A Gemdrop® Verified Gem Record documents the identification and assessment information recorded by Gemdrop® for the corresponding gem.

Each Gemdrop® document is uniquely identified and corresponds to a single database record.

Only documents issued directly by Gemdrop® Ltd and verifiable through the official Gemdrop® Verification Database are recognised as valid within the Gemdrop® verification system.

Any alteration, modification or tampering with the document may render it void.

A copy, reproduction or duplicate is not recognised as a valid Gemdrop® record unless it corresponds exactly to a valid and verifiable live database entry.

The document is supplied for identification and informational purposes. It must always be checked against the corresponding live database record.

Unauthorised reproduction, commercial use, counterfeiting, misrepresentation or misuse of Gemdrop® certification materials, database records or branding is prohibited.
